The Jupyter Notebook has exploded in popularity since late 2014, fuelled by its adoption as the favourite environment for doing data science. It has also grown as a platform to use in the classroom, to develop teaching materials, to share lessons and tutorials, and to create computational stories.
The ACADIGIA project team has used the Digital Competence of Educators framework (DigCompEdu) to assess Jupyter Notebook contribution to the digital competence of educators and learners.

But it has been during the pandemic that it has offered all its capacity and have turned into an indispensable tool in our lives.
