The UNIVPM’s Ignition event was held in attendance on October 24, 2022. First, a positive atmosphere was created among mentors and mentees with the implementation of an ice-break and with the team presentation. Then, after presenting the practical information about the project and the preparation of an exciting brainstorming session on educational experiences, peer-to-peer work took place to provide the first version of our Manifesto. Jupyter Notebook, a revolutionary concept of blended learning based on data.
The Jupyter Notebook has exploded in popularity since late 2014, fuelled by its adoption as the favourite environment for doing data science. It has also grown as a platform to use in the classroom, to develop teaching materials, to share lessons and tutorials, and to create computational stories.
The ACADIGIA project team has used the Digital Competence of Educators framework (DigCompEdu) to assess Jupyter Notebook contribution to the digital competence of educators and learners.
